Christmas Goose was a beloved grey gelding steeplechase horse bred and owned by philanthropist Paul Mellon at his Rokeby Farms in Virginia. Known for winning numerous races and a 100-mile endurance ride in the 1970s, the horse was immortalised in a 1986 bronze sculpture by Tessa Pullan, now in the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) collection.
